How do you Join Diamond city Security or any other minor Faction.

I know that the 4 Major Factions are easy to join because your forced into a encounter with them at one point or another. But what about the minor Factions i know some minor factions pop up. as you Travel as quests to join. But what about those that don't i have been trying to join Diamond City Security for awhile and i still havent found out how to. So If anyone can give me a link to a Detailed Guide of how to join the minor factions. Or tell me how to join some of the harder ones that are hard to figure out i would Appreciate it.

Someone told me you could Join Diamond City Security. apperently they where wrong about that. But what about any other factions i know silver sroud and triggermen are two of the minor factions you can join. is there any out there that you can join that are hard to figure out. How to Join them?

You can't in the Vanilla game. Best you can do as someone said is just "RP" it. However, I think there is an "alternate start" version for FO4 that might allow this. You can find it on the Nexus FO4 but it isn't a guarantee that you can be DCS. Not 100% sure.

I was kinda hoping you could become a criminal in Skinny Malone's outfit and bump him off and be the Kingpin/Godfella of Bostonia or something. I also find it odd you can't be the CINC of the Gunners and the mess that is Nuka World shoulda been a part of Vanilla from the start.

I murdered a guard for the outfit, donned it on and began patrolling the streets of Diamond City.
