I was forced to turn off SS's clutter and animations plus avoid manually adding other graphically taxing items to my settlements. My GTX 970 was starting to balk. Next time around I'll likely keep settlement populations down at 20 rather than in the 30 range. All the infrastructure to support those settlers comes at a cost.
Intel Core i7-5930K @3.5GH 16384RAM
GTX 1080Ti (only one. :( )
I actually had to install and run ENB to get a framerate limiter because I was stuck at 144 frames via monitor.... not fun.
I have run LOOT.
Thx for the feedback - I've seen several negatives on 1080/1080ti's regarding overheating and wonder what brand you have. The Founders editions seem to have the most issues due to their cooling solutions being of minimalist design.
No OCDecerator? thats a standard.
Could be one of 3 things:
-You're missing a mod that is required.
-You're missing a patch that makes the mods work together.
-Your load order isn't correct.
That is imo the likely course to fix your issue.
( I've had the same problem in the past. Also some mods just don't work with other mods when it comes to building stuff. Find those compatibility patches.
I believe OCDeorator has the brown wood crates as shown in the screenshot.
I don't want a single mod to have them because I want to collect them myself. I was very sad when they were finally modded in and could be cheated for.
I was so proud of collecting them because at the time, they were the only item in the game that couldn't be modded in or console commanded in. More than that, they can't go in your inventory and had to be carried to a single spot. That screenshot right there was from a very happy first year of play.
Also, one of the mods does have markers for idle things... Functional Objects?
Started a new game and had both shelving units and every mod where it's supposed to be so it's none of those and sadly is the easiest course of action to fix my problem. *grits teeth* it's not like I was that far, jsut gotta go get all the companions... again.
Vault 88 More Vault Rooms
And
Functional Objects Overhaul
Both modify vanilla build objects to make them do something functional.
I'm not as familiar with FOO, but More Vault Rooms adds happiness generation to deco items and makes the old vending machines functional and produce food and water.
Try disabling one or the other and seeing if that helps.
