bug with codsworth wont search homes to find my family ? i am level 1 fresh out of the vault ?
he just sits thier saying the same line follow me first quest broken ?

Play the Intro on normal difficulty, - the Vault 111, until you stand ready to leave at the bottom of the elevator, Unmodded and without Creation Club. Make a save here. From here you can add all you want, and the doors are open.

Both The Cosmos pack and the Tunnel pack CC are know to create game breaking errors if you play with them from character creation.

I have had both the Codsworth bug and the "Vault Door not open Bug", but currently i never have them anymore.

The Codsworth bug i know some extra about, it misplaces the Quest trigger for "Going Home". This Quest update is normally when you get near to Codsworth after entering Sanctuary for the first time, and it continues with "talk to Codsworth". And then you HAVE to get Codsworth to give you Noras Holotape, if not you cannot proceed to Concord, Talk to Preston and get Codsworth as Companion.

The Quest marker for "going Home" can be another place in Sanctuary, i usually find the trigger when jumping around on top of the Ruined house next to your Sanctuary Workbench on the right side. But sometimes it's not htere either. Maybee even not in Sanctuary at all. I could never bother to playtest this further, but the triggerplace jumps around with said CC's installed, before.

i just removed files starting with cc in the data folder that seemed to work then i add them back when i get to diamond city ...only safe way

ok when i reinstalled the creation club stuff at hangmans alley i went to do tradecraft ..and deacon is glitched like cosworth in lexington ? he keeps saying meet me in lexington ahahahah ? soo could be creation items buging the game again ?

I can`t believe they still doesn't fixed that in 2019. That`s very amateur, shame on you Bethesda. I just wanted to play again a bit, and I can`t going through in the first fcn quest. :( On console, I don`t have any option to anything, so thank you very much to ruining the game. :(
Another things that can break Codsworth is having given him a bowler hat before doing the automaton quests if you have that installed.
In fact this is probably a bug fix from the creation club :steammocking:, this way you can ignore the annoying codsworth, and Preston by the way.

Go directly to park street and rescue valentine and start the main quest from there

Im having the same problem on both my Xbox edition of Fallout 4 and my PC edition. Bethesda, what the hell?! is it really that hard to patch this out Bethesda?!

How odd that this is still a bug. Bethesda was supposed to curate these CC.
Bethesda rn is making the same mistakes as EA. Especially with Fallout. Well, it just gives The Outer Worlds free marketing anyway

Indeed they are making the same mistakes. The Outer Worlds looks like to much preaching and propaganda. I just want to play Fallout 4.
Take a safe potshot at him with your lowest damage weapon or 'shove' him if you have a shoving mod installed. Then talk to him agin to fix it.

This also happens if you spend time building up sanctuary before talking to him.
I have found a mod that fixed Cosworth, for me at least and it may not work for everyone

Wow you actually dug up one of the first topics about Out of Time getting screwed up.

It is kinda sad and depressing seeing so many forum regulars be wrong though.

I recently went another round with the nvwgf2umx.dll crashes involving CC items.

Sadly they are plug ins. Plugins can not be disabled in Vortex.

Cut and paste the files from the data folder in the fallout install into a new folder then when ready to activate it again move them back,
While that works to "disable" the mod I am pretty sure you are leaving other files behind. When I removed the three BA2 files you see labeled then the error would just point to the next CC item in the slot.

Doing a full reinstall without the CC houses made the error go away. The moment the housing was added back in the error resumed. THAT was when I realized there is no way to just remove those CC items. I scoured all over for a removal tool mod or even a list of files in the items.

Bethesda did say the CC items would be tested as well as their other software. so they kept their promise
Yep, three years later and still no official fix for Tunnel Snakes. Also the same reason it is one of the few CC items I do not own.
