Safe storage

Hi guys i need to find some safe locations for my items.But i've actually found on forums that npc steal it both from containers or workbench or weapons bench or workshop etc...also enemies sometime raze safe locations from items.Is there in this game a REAL safe storage location ?

Containers you build yourself won't ever reset their loot. As for NPCs stealing items, I don't recall that really happening to me. I have tons of containers in Sanctuary and also store large amounts of things in the workbench. Maybe when the settlement is attacked and they run out of ammo, they rush over to the workbench to grab another weapon if one is there, but I don't think they just regularly steal your stuff

They will steal from the Workshop and from containers that are in their sandbox area. What I do is to place a Very safe container either up high on a tower or in a corner out of the way of where the npc's spawn or normally walk. In settlements you can monitor settlers and it won't take long to figure out small areas where they never go.
For example, in Sunshine Tidings they never walk to the south side of the grain silos.

*In reality, I have never in 1400 hours found anything of real value missing from any containers I place in build mode.

workshop bench in sanctuary. never noticed anything stolen from it in over 900hrs.

Armor mannequins are safe.

I recommend using Locksmith, it will allow you to lock any container, door or gate. Keeps your stuff safe from settlers and raiders =)

Power door works too use one or two switches never had anything stolen that way put do not enter sign
