Synth Mod help!!

I'm trying to get the mod "Workshop Synth Production" to work. The station to make them does not appear anywhere in the workshop menu after I get the holo tape. I need help!!

try turning on tgm first. the synth production lab is found in power/misc but you must READ the holotape entries first.

I've done that. I followed a youtube walkthrough but the lab for some reason still won't show up.

Silly as it may sound, try dropping the holotape and then picking it up. There's a similar glitch with the "craftable arcade machines" mod on Nexus that does the same thing. Also, assuming you've already been inside the instutute, right? You can first get the tape to build synths from taking the tape off some desk in the 'tute. If you blew up the place, you can still find the tape...somewhere. It's in the notes. I have the mod, too. You can't build synths til after you been "down there".

I actually found it in the menu after going back in the game. Now my problem is finding a place big enough to put it. Everytime I think I have space it just stays red.

Just installed this mod, but can't find it in the Institute. Can anyone tell me the name of the scientist who's carrying it? It's not by the bridge either. Thanks

It's been a little while but if you still haven't found it, it's in the robotics lab on one of the desks.

Hey, I have the problem from the first. I can’t seem to get it working and I did the drop holotape thing, what should I do?

If the unique that the synth made dies and the game removes the synth, your synth turns into a cockroach. You shoot the cockroach and all the other settlers open fire on you.
