Radiation man
So, I am playing with the thought of a character which has all the radiation perks and how such a char would fare.

Starting with Armor, the Power Armor have a 1050 Radiation Resistance
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next ill list the Radiation Perks:
----------------------------------------

Lead Belly
You take no radiation from eating or drinking.

Aquaboy / Aquagirl
You no longer take radiation damage from swimming, and can breathe underwater.

Rad Resistant
You now have +40 Radiation Resistance.

Ghoulish
Rad damage will now begin to slowly heal, restoring health in the process.

Perks that can boost healing (Which have synergy with the Ghoulish Perk)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Solar Powered
Sunlight slowly regenerates your lost Health.

Lifegiver
Slowly regenerate lost Health.

Nerd Rage!
You now gain 40 more Damage Resistance and do 40% more damage while Nerd Rage is in effect. Kills you make while enraged restore some lost Health.

--
Now the question is, have anyone tried this?

Can we theorize about the end result when playing with radiation or enemies which deal radiation damage? while having theese Armors and Perks

I do have Ghoulish Lifegiver and Solar Powered maxed out and I can say during the day I am pretty much invincible especially if i'm in radiation. Stand in radiation for a bit to gain a ton of hp really fast then leave and watch Solar Powered wash it away. I rarely if ever use stimpaks or radaway, sitting on over 200 right now. I am lvl 70 as well so I do fight some of the highest level version of enemies.

Use backpack to heal just being ghoul not for me i want max out endurance
I got gun now does double damage with critical hit so can do over 400 with sneak attack
First thing need take hit from fatman and the skelton perk
So it does cripple you

I am not interested in discussing other builds, nor am I discussing my characters build as this is just an idea, something I am wondering about. I am asking what people think will be the outcome by having the aformentioned armor and perks.

For instance Rez Elvin got the idea and shared his experience with a few of the aforementioned perks

I don't use power armor so no comment there...

I'd personally leave out Solar Powered, Life Giver, and Nerd Rage and spend those on Nuclear Physicist for your rad weapons and power armor, get Demolition Expert for Nuka Grenades and mini Nukes, and keep Ghoulish for the passive heal.

And then, the most important step..

As soon as you can, go to Far Harbor, become a child of Atom, get Atom's Judgement, and begin the cleansing of the land.

Not sure if you're into mods but there are mods that support a radiation build and add content to the glowing sea.

No mods
No builds

Only theorycrafting
Only experiences with the things listed by me in this topic

The ghoulish healing effect only applies when you are receiving rads, and is proportional to the amount of rads incoming. As a result it has definite anti-synergy with the radiation resistance and conditional immunities from your perks and Power armour.

I'm not seeing the synergy with perks that give healing, its merely giving a similar effect (that unlike Ghoulish won't heal during combat).
The exception is solar powered which, with rank 2 removes your rads over time. That definitely does have synergy with Ghoulish as it would give space to use the rapid healing Ghoulish allows for more often.
Unfortunately that healing will be gimped by the radiation resistance so the potential synergy will be lost.

Nerd Rage is similar. It has most synergy with an Irradiated man build, where high rads are maintained to allow for constant use of its bonuses, along with other high rad or low health perks and effects to make a super buffed glass cannon (a build that is a lot of fun, and is much better with Far Harbour).
A character that makes gaining rads difficult, and will have health regeneration and probably (and more importantly) natural rad healing would act against this perks activation requirements marginalising it.

Your character would be strong against radiation attacks and zones, which isn't really any different from a regular power armour user, just overall one that wasted a bunch of perk points. I wouldn't expect anything beyond that.
