Windows 10 Game bar(Game Mode) can not start(please read below)
Hello.I recently clean installed Windows 10 version 1803 (April 2018 update) and the OS is fully updated properly.I should add here that the Xbox app which controls Game bar and screen capture in game became itself updated through Microsoft Store a few days ago.

My issue is that while this worked flawlessly in the previous Windows 10 install with Fallout 4, it does not now, instead giving me a message"that you need a new app to open "MSGAMING OVERLAY" but there's no app to choose to associate it with, and upon getting in to the gam menu, Windows prompts me every time to fix apps that might appear blurry on my main display.Hitting the Windows key button, and choosing cancel, then alt-tabbing back into game resolves this.

I chatted with Xbox support, and they tried and repaired Microsoft Store cache which appeared corrupted, but no chage, also when choosing to open my captures through Xbox app, I am getting the -error-message that "we can not show you that now".,

Please offer me your advice on this if possible.

Thank you all.

It seems like you use Win G and I was going to suggest you go into Settings/Gaming and start disabling/choosing NO in portions to see what might fix your issue but, maybe go to this Reddit first...

Sadly, repairing the Microsoft Store won't fix it, I had to disable Game bar from Windows settings.I think it might fix itself through an update to the app in the future, but it's hard to tell.

This was damned annoying when my machine updated to 1803, was playing Fallout 4 at 1440p on a 4k monitor. For some stupid reason Windows kept thowing that message up EVERY time I started Fallout.
I ended up turning off notifications from display settings to stop it:
start>settings>system>notifications & actions.
