Nick Valentine is not unlocking the exit to Vault 114 so I cannot advance in the quest, please help.

Type in tcl

hit the '~' key located above tab on most keyboards, click on the door with your mouse and then type in 'unlock' and hit enter. this should unlock the door.

Quicksave and reload works for bugs like this sometimes too.

Yeah, I tried unlocking through console too, it doesn't unlock for some reason. I'm playing on survival mode, but I've also installed a mod that enables the console.

I tried reloading many times, but all what Nick does is just fiddle with the lock, and then just stand there, and the door doesn't get unlocked.

tcl wouldn't work as I'm inside a building and I have to go outside world by activating the door.
