You bought "mods" from Creation Club? you're fuc*ing dumb. But no, you will not lose any mods you "paid" on your current Bethesda account.

The mods you bought are tied to that account not the game so reinstalling the game and such won't make you have to buy them all over again.

Haha I will admit I’m not that dumb. I just got all the things that were 100% off. I haven’t spent any real money

Well that's good. Imagine paying real money for "mods"... Have fun mate!

What's with the weird use of quotation marks? The way you're using them, it makes it seem like Bethesda is calling them mods but you don't think they are, which is, you know, not at all the case. And the quotes around "paid" don't make any sense at all.

Also, note that I wouldn't be bringing any of this up if you weren't acting like a ♥♥♥♥.

Seems some people really don't understand things too. They scream paid mods, and yet forget there is a difference between content made by contractors and mods. It's like screaming a new star wars book is paid fan fiction because it was written by a known fan fiction author under contract to Disney to write the book.

All the outrage about the Creation Club is just kneejerk reactions by people too invested in their outrage to actually bother trying to learn the facts.

Come to think of it, that's a pretty good description of just about any social media outrage.

That's not to say you can't criticize the Creation Club. I'm just not down with people throwing around insults based on some issue they barely know anything about. I mean, if the guy had ever even looked at the Creation Club, he'd realize that there's pretty much always something on sale for 100% off. I'd wager that a majority of people who use creation club content never spend any money at all on it, just because you can get a lot of it for free just by checking for new sales frequently.

you'd be surprised, creation club credits hit page 3-4 of the top sellers on steam again... been there since E3

You won't lose access to the CC assets - they just won't be present until re-downloaded for your fresh installation of FO4. When you reinstall FO4 you'll need to manually reinstall the CC mods that you already have.

The easiest way to do this is open CC and go to the section that shows what you aleady own, and simply click the download button for each CC asset. I had to reinstall CC mods - that I mostly grabbed for free - when I reinstalled FO4. Took me a few minutes to figure out why I was getting a missing assets message before I sussed the missing bits were CC assets.*

Edit - * I got the missing assets message when I tried to load a save that had used CC assets. If you start FO4 afresh, you won't get this message but the CC assets still won't be present until you add them.

As others have said, you don't lose your Creation Club content, it's tied to your Bethesda.net account, so as long as you don't forget the password, you'll be fine. But, the CC stuff won't redownload automatically. You'll need to go through and manually redownload each one you own... which, depending on how many you own, which ones you own, and your internet speed, could take a while.

A way to get around having to redownload them may be to go into the Fallout 4 data folder (where the CC files are actually held) and copy them so you can paste them back later. Just a warning, though, that solution may present some technical issues. Whatever game breaking issue you had likely isn't present in the CC files, but it's still a possibility, and another issue may be that the new installation may not recognize the CC stuff as being downloaded already even if you copy them in. In which case you'll need to move them back out of the data folder because, for whatever reason, downloads are blocked on the CC if a file with the destination filename already exists in the given folder. By the way, if you ever get an update for you creation club content but the installations fail, that's why. You need to remove the original files yourself or the update can't be downloaded.
