how to get BoS officer armor?

i know you can only get it from pick pocketing him before him leaving the bunker or killing him but if you take him back to the prydwen is there any other way of getting it?

Easiest way is just to use the console command to spawn it in.

Or keep an eye on the vertibirds and let them crash from enemy attacks or destroying it and sometimes you can find it that way.

The officer's uniform (the properly black one, rather than the one that is merely dark) doesn't turn up on any vertibird crew members.

You would have to be a BoS Officer. Which you can't.

Why? There are other unique bits of clothing and armour that can also only be obtained in one way.

yes but if you dont know about the armor and the only way to get it is by getting it from brandis and then go pass it you wont be able to get it anymore

Yes, but it's still not the only case of something like that, especially when you've got a branching storyline with different rewards on different branches.

I do consider it a little unusual that the BOS officer uniform isn't worn by more BOS officers, since Brandis wearing one indicates that you just need to be a paladin to count as an officer.
