Power armor durability
Why is it so crap? I was wearing my full X-01 Mk. VI when I went to the Four Leaf Fishpacking Plant. All those ghouls destroyed one of my arms.

Is there any way to improve durability? I don't want to have to repair it after every dungeon (no mods please, open to console though.)

I'm confused why you're against using mods, but you're open to cheating. Doesn't make much sense considering I'm fairly certain there are plenty of PA mods that fix the issue you're complaining about.

If you're not willing to settle with mods, you could just enable god mode through the console (TGM) and you'll never have to worry about durability again. Other than that, have you increased all the PA-related perks?

I know it's easy to install mods, and I would use them, but I just can't be bothered to do that.

Also, what's easier? Typing a few lines in console, or exiting the game, going to nexus, downloading the mod, then renentering the game?

God mode is no fun. I want to take damage, but I hate durability.

Downloading the mod once so you never have to worry about it again, instead of typing in the console 500 times?

Perhaps, but I am talking about at the present moment. Also, mods disable achievements and if it's anything like skyrim, it's bloody annoying to reneable them.

There is a mod to reenable achievements.

I gathered that, but is it like with skyrim SE where you have to put the files in a specific place instead of just installing via the NMM?

I just used NMM for it.

hmm....perhaps I will give it a try then.

I mean, since I finished the main quest, I wouldn't feel bad about using any

the first one answers your needs. The second one makes PA "consistent". Start with those.

That second one is actually perfect for another thing. While I do like my Hot Rod Flames Paint, I have always wanted BoS on my X-01

That might help then, as well.

Armorer Perk.
Nite69 Jul 17, 2018 @ 7:02pm
its why I use fully upgraded standard armor, I don't like the power armor system either, constant repairing and the game hud covers too much of the screen

Have you ever shot a steel plate? They really don't hold up well actually. Most of the protection from Heavy Armor doesn't come from the material, but from angular deflection and material ablation.

There's a solution for that as well!
