I just recreate METRO 2033 World with these mods! (the only exception is METRO markets part... I think?)

I read some of the older posts about the mods that can make Fallout 4 be like METRO 2033 but from what I've seen, each post can only create a part of it ... so I tried to gather all the mods from every posts I read with some of the mods I found on my own anddddd it turns out to be really good!!!



Overall, with these mods I can create a unbreathable long forgotten frozen world with interconnected underground subway passages. For travelling on the surface, you will always have to find gas mask filters to be able to breath and try to hide from the horde of mutants that wander around the wasteland (also increase the amount in the night) with the METRO theme equipment.

These are some parts where I can't find any mod that can replicate that if anyone knows any information please HELP!!!.

- METRO markets : the underground society that exist in each station (I know about FROST mod but with almost all the survivors try to kill me, it couldn't work)
- Delete some non-METRO enermy : there are some vanilla enemy that are just... not quite fit in METRO world even when you try really hard. They are..of course.. Super Mutants and some of the creatures
- Supernatural events : METRO books and games have a lot of scary moments that come from this but in Fallout 4, we only have Dunwich.

*Snow Weather and Lighting*

because the mod "Winter overhaul" Lighting still does't look good, this mod can change the snow colour tone to be much better. (also I turn off every rain, rad storm weathers)

This snow weather mod is amazing! other snow mods just only change the ground to be white but this mod retextures all the buildings!

- Nuclear Weather Snow ONLY https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17491
There is a small file in Nuclear Weather mod that contains only the snow storm, use it!



*Gameplay*

- Fallout 2287 - Gas Masks of the Wasteland https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17491
force you to put on your gas mask and find gas mask filter every time you go on the surface... this mod pretty much appear on every METRO mod post soooo nothing more I can say.

- Endless Warfare https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17626
I use this mod to create the Mutant "Horde" as seen in the picture which they are of course... Yao Guai... not Nosalis(common enemy we fight in METRO 2033) but with the size, sound, movement, if someone could just reskin Yao Guai, it WILL be Nosalis!

so how to create the Horde: first, set the spawn number of Yao Guai to 5 then turn on random chance modifier,set respawn timer to 60-90 seconds and wander distance to 15000. now you will always find few Yao Guai wander around the world but when they found you... a lot will appear from all directions...

set all Faction patrols to 0, just keep Scavenger, Hunter, Trader and set Yao Guai to max.

It connects all the subway together!!!! now we can travel through commenwealth without go to the surface once!

In Last Light armor mod you can't wear any gas mask and METRO 2033 version looks more like this mod.

In case Fallout 2287 didn't put METRO theme gas mask in, I use this mod before anyway. :P

One of the best weapon you can use in METRO game.

a perfect costume for a METRO outfit

makes all the creatures to be much more salvage... METRO like!



*Effect and Sounds*

upgrade all the sound in the game to be more realistic! (they really done a good job when you shoot inside a tight hallway)

- Pip-Boy Flashlight (Pipboy - Power Armor - Lamp Overhaul) https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10840
change Pipboy light to a proper flashlight!

- Realistic Death Physics - No Animations https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4371
no more last enemy death animation and no flying enemy!

- Turn off the game music!
bacause after Reverb Overhaul mod is install, that is just *perfect*



*Others*

- Clickerfied Ghouls - The Last Of Us Clicker Sounds For Ghouls https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16815
change the ghoul sound to be the Clicker in Last os Us, it's not METRO universe but trust me, it makes ghoul so much scarier.

- Respawnable Legendary Bosses and Hard Legendary Giant Creatures https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10124
put a giant mini bosses around the map, also not METRO but it is a very fun mod to have.



PS. for anyone who said "appreciate both games in their own way", METRO series only have linear missions, I just want a open-world METRO game but since it won't happen any time soon (Exodus is still a linear game but with much larger maps) I just want to make it myself. Hope you understand :P

you have some great mods there. War of the commonwealth, Nac, subway runner....i use all of them, as well as NPCS travel. In fact, i use subway and npc on my ps4 runs.

All the armor sets from MetroLL got ported to FO4. You can find them on GUN.

Thanks! but I used Endless Warfare instead of WoC because I can't choose the type of enemy I spawn in WoC :P

also, do you have any suggestion with the METRO market? I'm thinking about creating a settlement or something like that.

All the armor sets from MetroLL got ported to FO4. You can find them on GUN.

I saw Last Light armor mod but I think it isn't compatible with gas mask sooo I can't use it.

You can easily add the scripts from the fallout 2287 mod to any custom gas mask in xEdit, there even is a step by step tutorial on the mod page. If you don't want do do that, you can just use vanilla gas masks with the metro armor mod , it's completely modular and you can swap out any piece you want.

Every front page of Steam Discussions has a quote "Searching is the key". He must've done it out of curiosity.

Anyway, the modlist to make it look like Metro 2033 seems something like OOBE in Windows. My bro did played Metro 2033 but never finished eventually. I'll give it a shot when I'm not busy.
