Dialogue overlapping, songs skipping to early in radio.

Hi, I've been playing fallout 4 since it launched and i've tingled so much with the ini and everything else.

I have 144 gsync and boy oh boy is that not an advantage in fallout 4. I know i can limit fps and turn of presentinterval, but i want to see if something new has happened.

Because... Now the game suddenly can do 144 hz without movement, animations and terminals bugging and speeding up making the game unbearable to play.

I believe its Nvidia who did something aswell... but dunno.

TL;DR

My dialogues finish before the last word has been spoken by the NPC. Songs in the radio skip before they are done. Is there a way to fix this, without having to limit fps

I'm having this issue as well, though only recently - the game ran just fine until a few months ago. I've tried re-installing the game, lowering the specs, I don't know what to do to fix it. This is my favourite game and I'm getting tired of it not working properly. I have a powerhouse home-built computer that by all rights should still be able to run this game without a hitch.

Is this what the problem is or is this the solution, because I'm having the problem too and I don't have the mod, but I don't want to install it if it'll make it worse.

The problem is that you've allowed your frame rate to go past 60fps. The game can't handle that. You can cap your rate rate however you like and most of these issues will go away. Using the mod will also fix the problem plus a few other specific situations, and it can possibly allow you a higher frame rate.

This does not work. I just tried, original post's complaint still exists. I installed it with Vortex, and the first song/dialogue I encountered still did it. Everything was installed properly. Don't even see a difference this mod makes.

It won't work if you launch the game through Steam, you have to launch it from Vortex or the F4SE exe file.
