how do you rotate the camera to see the front of your character?
Ok I know this is a stupid question but I can't figure out how to rotate the camera without the character moving as well. I'm playing with a 360 controller. I know, I know "Keyboard and mouse are superior bla bla bla" . Playing with a controller helps me prevent motion sickness.

Holster your weapon, or hold down the button that enables the third person camera.

On a KB you hold down V, which is your first to third person key. So, hold down whatever button changes you from first to third person view.

Edit; If you do that in a settlement, it will open the Workshop.

That or zoom out with the mousewheel after you holstered your weapon.

I use the mouse scroll to zoom out, but weapon must be holstered indeed.
Shouldn't have to be that way, but that's what we have.

I guess you could tfc and just freecam it but I can't remember whether that also holsters your weapon.
