Game is off center please help.
Really confused what could be causing my screen to be off center. While I start up the game, everything looks fine on screen. When I land on the home screen, all of the options and the whole screen itself is fine. While on the loading screen going into a saved game, everything is fine and centered. Once I get into the game, again everything is in the center.

Now, when I open up my PDA this is where it is off center and I can't see the options at the top. It's like the screen shifted down and to the right.

I've checked both pref files and res is set at standard game res, which is 1280x720 I believe.. Prior to starting the game, i selected same standard game res. This is on full screen btw.

Not sure what else to do. I've put quite a lot of time into FO4 since it's release and just want to start up a new game.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

it might be a mod you are using that is affecting your pda.

this is what usually happens if changing the resolution in the ini instead of choosing it in the launcher. did you do that?

What is your screen mode? If you are using windowed borderless, go to Documents\My Games\Fallout4\ and open Fallout4Prefs.ini. Make sure iSize W and iSize H match your screen. If you use greater than 100% scaling in Windows make sure DPI scaling is disabled (Windows Vista through 10 v1607), or set to Application (Windows 10 v1703 or higher) to ensure Windows isn't messing with your window size.

no matter what you used for isize in the ini, the game will never stretch to it no matter what.

If you are in borderless window mode it sets the window width and height.

In-game, go into the pip-boy, then open the console and type
fov 75 90
First number is the FOV for the pip-boy, while the second number is the world FOV.
Adjust the values as needed and in other camera modes, as well (1st person, 3rd person views).

That was it thank you sir, really appreciate it. Was actually contemplating this right before I checked the forums.

the biggest problem i have with pipboy is not being able to really see anything on the screen when a power suit. I have to take off the helmet or get out of suite to read it. if i do not it is just greenish letters on greenish background and all lite up

Check fallout4prefs.ini for the PAHUD options and add the ones with colour values to Fallout4Custom.ini to change the power armour HUD colours.

the issue i seem to be having is that my PC runs at 2560x1080 ive fixed both .Ini files in both the steam common folder as well as the game folder itself Ive also changed the other options to the apropriate 1's and 0's yet when i run the game the screen is fine but the shading behind the options like "Continue" and "New Game" at the opening screen is was off center. Then if i go in-game and speak to a merchant its so blown up that the trade windows go way outside the frame of my screen and i cant even see what i'm doing.
