Fallout 3/NV style power armor.

I've been looking for this type of mod since Fallout 4 released. I'm not a big fan of the power armor system in Fallout 4, with the frame, fusion cores and generally how huge and cumbersome it is. I realise it is much more realistic, but I don't care for it. I preferred when it was basically worn as clothing.

Surely this couldn't be a hard mod to make? Basically just making a new clothing set that looks like power armor with some good stats.
I've seen this discussion brought up a couple of times but the question is always met with "It's better in Fallout 4, fact." Well I don't agree.
Does anyone know if there are any mods like this? The Cybernetics mod isn't what I'm looking for and the XA Power Assisted armor doesn't look right.

Just give yourself infinite fusion cores and call it a day.

this is the main problem with power armor. In the future i guess they use cell phone batteries for power armor. Luckily there are tons of mods that fix this.

does what, give more life to the fusion cores? Check again. I know of one overhaul mod that has done this: immersive gameplay. Fusion cores actually last much longer. At least that is what the mod says. I just started my playthrough with the mod and it is hardcore enough that i am getting my butt kicked. I have not found a fusion core yet to test out. I think Horizon also gives extended life to fusion cores.

I was talking about the OPs question if there is a power armor mod that works like the older games
