In the base game there's a legendary armor that you can add it to that makes it worth 2x as good as the best power armor, it is really rare tho

Don't expect balancing with creation club content, It just kinda happens.
Especially with that doom chainsaw.

Um hell yes it is.

All it takes is donut mix and purified water. Donut mix can be found in containers everywhere. You can make 4 donut mix for 2 razorgrain and a box of sugar bombs.

I am kinda disappointed the Fallout Wiki does not support the CC stuff. I mean ya, it is a mod, but it is kind of an official mod. Should be treated as DLC in my opinion.

Even with no sneak attack bonuses (Except Deacon's perk) I still 1 shot Mythics, Charred, etc.

Calmex can't be crafted at a chemistry station in the vanilla game, nor can Daddy-O

The Nukatown USA vendor (nukaworld DLC) always has Calmex silk after you do his quest.
You only get a few at a time though.

As far as horse power armor: it isn't as good as maxed X-01, but the legs each give you a 5% move speed buff and a jump buff. The full suit will also give +1 Luck.

X-01 max upgraded in 1820/1390/1050
There are one Horse Power armor in game and MANY MANY X01. So I dont think it is OP....

Well, you have always been able to get a two shot combat rifle at the start which is a much bigger issue for progression/balance... guns matter more than armor.

Also damage reduction is a cube root of armor, so the difference between 1100 (maxed T-45, you get T-45 at the start of the game) and 1700 armor is between 75% and 78% damage reduction on a 160damage hit... it doesn't actually matter.
(It makes less of a difference on smaller hits.)
