How to delete ALL mods without deleting the game/game files?
Hello. I have been using a lot of mods (around 90) for quite some time now. I just added half a dozen new mods which were all looks menu and face customization stuff for character presets. Something in there broke my entire game, when I start new game, the second Nora comes into view in the mirror the game crashes.

Ive disabled those mods but the problem has not gone away. The only solution I see is to wipe ALL my mods, and start over. Is there a way to wipe them all in one fell swoop? I dont want to have to reinstall the game, but it seems like mod files are all over the place in Fallouts file directory, and not just in one spot. Since I have so many, Im trying to avoid individually doing this, especially considering Ill probably have to do this process more than once.

Any help would be appreciated.

If your using Vortex or Mod Organizer 2, you don't need to worry, since they store mods in folders outside the data directory. If your using Nexus Mod Manager, go to tools and select "Purge all unmanaged files". That will delete all your mods.

If you are using NMM, be aware that there are more than a few people who have had problems with it not removing all mod files. It may be that a full clean reinstall is your best option.
