Gunner stole my power armor

So, I see my red rocket station is under attack and I go to help. THE STUPID GUNNER STOLE MY POWER ARMOR!! I'm quite angry. I'm wondering if I reload the save to before I went, and if I dont help, will nothing happen and my companions at the settlement kill them all?

If theyre in the power armour as soon as you get to the settlement, then i have no clue, but if not, maybe you could use vats to try get them before they jump in it?

FO4 101. Never leave a power core in an empty PA. If you did not have a core in your empty PA then it is a mod. Also how is the gunner stupid for using PA. Sounds pretty smart to me.

get the apartment in diamond city.store anything you dont want stolen.the only safe haven i know of in the game.get the key from the mayors secretary you'll have to buy it.its a cozy little dive...lol

you dont have to buy just walk up to door open console click on door type unlock press enter close console the house is now yours

If you can target the fusion core and damage it enough for him to eject it without killing him he should exit the power armor

Build a ladder to the roof, park your PA, remove ladder.

Never leave power armor where NPCs can reach it.
Never leave PA parked with the Core in it.

Target the fusion core in VATS, or get that pickpocket skill way up so you can pop them out sneakily.

Never a problem at Red Rocket and I stored all my stuff there from very early in the game. It's not a settlement though, it's my own private little hideaway. Added a room where I keep 12-13 fully maxed out suits of power armor, all with different paint schemes. Nobody gets inside since I have Rocket or Laser turrets about every 8 feet or so on the roof, and lots of Heavy machine gun turrets on the ground. Defense is over 350 so anyone is welcome to try and steal something. The grounds surrounding the Red Rocket is littered with the bodies of raiders who have tried.

One of my best Fallout 4 stories is when i was building in the alley and a gunner officer stole my power armor and nearly killed me before i knew what was going on. :) I was like WTF, he had backup to.

One of those times Fallout 4 really shined.
