Let's talk about the FO Bible and Bethesda

So I remember Chris Avolon tweeting that the FO Bible is only canon as long as Bethesda wants to keep it that way, since they now own the franchise (and of course Black Isle Studios died a long time ago).

MY question is this. Has Bethesda actually said anything at all about their stance on the Fallout bible?

Thus far, near as I can tell, they have not done anything directly contradicting the Fallout Bible in FO3, NV, or FO4. So it would seem, at least for now, Bethesda is taking the Fallout Bible as canon still.

What do you think? Have they actually spoken out one way or another to the Fallout community? If not, do YOU think they still consider the FOB as canon?

if Bethesda hasn't directly contradicted it, then they may consider it a good guideline for their own development. I do believe that only what Bethesda does in their games is real canon. It is like Star Wars. Disney owns it now, so what they say is canon, is canon. Same with Bethesda and Fallout.

He later says bethesda decides the lore, which could mean if Bethesda doesn't contradict the FOB it very well could still be the lore
