Can i destroy the institute after finishing its questline? Spoliers

im doing a evil run and want to destroy the 3 destroyable factions and i know that if you do the BoS ending you can then use the MM to bomb them but if i become leader of the Inst can i then get kicked out so i can destroy them with the MM (tbh i only want to side with the ins so i can make that announcement)

I think you can still do the Railroad after the Announcement.
Then I suppose you could finish them off.

that might work (was hopeing to do the mm quest to nuke them after destroying the RR and BoS but if thats what i have to do then that is what i have to do (that or do the BoS quests and then use the mm to bomb them)

I thought the point of no return for BoS was before that, but I might be wrong. The more I play the more it becomes a blur. :D

You can destroy BoS with the RR after the Institute, easily take out RR on your own, then if you're a Raider lock Preston up in a cage and pretty much take care of them too.

the cut off point for the bos is is b4 that however i am at the point just b4 aggroing them so i still have options

Easy go with the Institute until after the announcement and eliminating both the RR and BOS, then get yourself banished, do the MM. Then go to Nukaworld and turn on the MM.

Hey buddy, the game is over two years old, spoilers are kind of a thing of the past for 95% of the people. The other 5% should stay the off the forums if they are worried about spoilers.

Far Harbor was ruined with spoiler topics for the first week it was out by a bunch a douchebags that Steam did nothing but a slap on the wrist. So aint nothing going to happen to someone posting a spoiler two years after release.

I mean, it IS a spoiler LITERALLY in the title.... where are you getting these 95% stats? I don't think steam even has those kind of achievement %'s. You're basically saying it is ok to spoil something for a new player coming to the forums for glitch help or a build or whatever, because a select few people spammed the forums ONE time.

i tryed that but even after going on a murder rampage i did not get the "you got kicked out" quest

for some reason no matter how many times I play this game I just cannot bring myself to nuke the institute... I start the RR or BOS quest but then.. I'm like why would I want to blow up the ONLY thin in the game that does not look like it got ♥♥♥♥ out a super mutant? Les you goto the nexus and get a mod that is the only place you find a toilet that looks clean or a bed that does not look like it is stuffed with super bed bugs?

Hmmm. I looked through the wiki quest tree. Looks like the only option to change sides is End of the line switching to RR.

Although it did say killing any named NPC gets you banished. Maybe Banished is locked out on the quest before powering up.

A) no need for harassing words. game is old enough for people to know the outcome of the story let alone that it's pretty predictable;

B) if you have played any Bethesda game before, you should know can become a leader of almost any faction in their games. TES has more variety in this regard than, say, FO4 where u have to choose a faction and stick with it. You don't become leader of BoS since it already has one, but you become third most powerful figure in its ranks in the Eastern Chapter.

Idk about RR because I bloody hate them and given I play with mods, I never even bothered siding with them. Other than that you do become leader of Institute and MM. It's pretty obvious.

Yes, you can kill / become enemies with the Institute even if you took it over. In a similar vein for Far Harbor's factions, one of my characters destroyed all three factions there, after milking them for as much quest xp and caps as possible. Amusingly, she kept the Inquisitor of Atom perk even though she killed all the Children of Atom with punchy death and then set off the sub to nuke the Nucleus into oblivion. I guess it was Atom's will! XD
