This is the REAL reason Bethesda didn't can unpaid mods: They need the free community just to keep their games running. :V

Dude I know right, its ridiculous now. Bethesda has clearly abandoned Fallout 4, or at least, the skeleton crew is on and only just to milk the Creation Club money flow. Its infuriating considering that these "patches" dont actually fix any bugs, and are usually to add a new hat or pointless cosmetic mod that costs $12.99 on CC.

All the HUGE bugs from LAUNCH are still in the game, Emogene not appearing at the Pillars of Community building, Preston constantly freezing in dialogue just to stare at you, Preston constantly reinitiating his final affinity speech, Curie not registering as a companion and being listed non-essential and killable, Curie returning to Vault 88 every time you dismiss her instead of going to the settlement you told her to go to, companions dissapearing never to be found again, power conduit lines suddenly dissapearing and needing to be reconnected. The list goes on and on, and the sad part is, in my 1400 hours of gameplay, the bugs Ive seen since launch are still an issue. Enough to make you scratch your head and scream at the sky WHY BETHESDA!?

It begs the quest, so with all these updates, what bugs actually ARE getting fixed? Any at all?

Don't forget Settlement bed bug, Or Sheffield sitting backwards and not being able to talk to him without having to MOVETO PLAYER in the console. Or having the Cultists you rescue Emogene from having a Brotherhood vertibird crash on top of them. Or super mutants randomly spawning in Sanctuary.. Or all the other bugs.

Yeah, you know Bethesda is amazing. Truly, they make the BEST games, in my opinion. I adore them, and their style they impart on their masterpeices. I think a lot of people hold them in high esteem and have high expectations, which makes it even more dissapointing when these things happen. All the reviews always dock BIG points for the plethora of bugs that have become Beths open world trademark. The reviewers always seem to seek recompense in the idea that they will be patched out later, but that doesnt ever happen, does it.

The super high profile bugs that get a lot of attention, they get fixed so there isnt public backlash. But the rest of them, are ignored. I dont get it, why? Is it really that hard to get rid of these bugs? They know exactly what the bugs are, hell there are even fixes for some in console commands they cant be that time consumiung or expensive to iron out. The unofficial F4 patch, where a few modders can fix a vast amount of bugs, how does that happen? The community has to fix the mess, its really dissapointing.

At least some of those bugs have become great memes. Like the one about Santiago's eyes glitching in NV and always having the "Awesomeface" look.

LOL. Have you watched the "Preston Garvey calls Social Services" about a settlement being attacked by raiders? Its seriously hilarious. Its a prank call to human services, done with a sound board, its actually executed adeptly and the lady on the phone doesnt even realize it until a couple minutes in.

Not yet, But now that gives me something to watch during the inevitable wait for F4SE to catch up. >.<

I still have to compile all my video shorts of stupid things I've done to Preston and put it up on the Youtubes. My fave is during the test of the artillery at the Castle to snd him into the test area before the mortars go off. :V
