Help me fix the stupid traps breaking constantly.
Right now I am running Immersive Gameplay with around 40 weapon mods. These mods add some very cool modern weapons but the problem is raiders/gunners are now very powerful. This is a problem since IG settlement attacks would better be described as a theater of war. I have had attacks where as many as 30 raiders have come - all armed to the teeth with modern firearms.

So as you can imagine my settlers all keep dying. Building turrets is expensive and difficult in IG so I decided to go to the next best route. I basically walled off my settlement with double high concrete walls and only had 1 way in. I put a ton of traps (3 saw blades, radiation trap, tesla trap, 2 flamethrowers, 2 autoguns) all guarding the door. I linked this all to a siren and then a generator. The idea is that when the siren is activated this hellish defense will come online and anyone who enters the settlement will be turned into mince meat.

The problem is that these trap items are crap! If I run the siren even ONE time they will all be broken and have to be repaired. Doing this takes a huge amount of resources like circuitry and it's just stupid that I should have to repair a trap after it is used only 1 time.

I would like to know if there is any mods out there to fix this.

If now, I might make my own patch for IG. Does anyone know how this need to be repaired after 1 use is calculated? Does it have to do with the trap durability or is there some script that tells it to break after being triggered?

I would really appreciate the help because it's pointless to have defenses that break after only 1 use, especially on survival when attacks are quite frequent.

I don't know about IG but you can put tgm in the console to get infinite resources until you turn it off so you could run it through without having to rebuild everything.

Can't use that in Survival mode unfortunately. Most console commands are enabled as I'm using "Survival Options" mod but one that no one has been able to crack is TGM on survival :(

I did a lot of research and I dont think there is any way to change it. Traps you drop like bear trap have a value of "chance to break" but the traps you build dont seem to have any values to modify. I think that the way workshop traps work is hard coded into the game, without a complex script there is no solution :(
