Achievements not unlocking?

I completed three quests today that should grant achievements but I did not get them. I was not in offline mode and I do not use mods (there is no "m" on my save file). Is there any other reason that can cause this? Any way to unlock the achievements without going back and completing the quests again?

I was still getting achievements as of a few days ago when I got "Where You Belong."

I may have used the console, yes, but I thought I read that doesn't mess with achievements. I like to noclip sometimes to save time backtracking or whatever.

Yeah you are right about the console, I must've confused this with a different game, sorry.

Those achievements unlocked for me without any problems so I can't really help you with that.

Thanks. I'm not usually super achievement guy but it's annoying not having a record that I completed Far Harbor. Hrmph.

Most like you running a mod and it will disable it

Console does not disable achievements in the vanilla game so the most likely thing is you have something non-vanilla running.

I have zero mods running, trust me. Also I restarted the game, made sure never to touch the console, reloaded some saves and got the achievements no problem. Pretty sure it was the console. Who knows though.

i've had that problem with a few games with steam.. if your connection anywhere between your computer and steams server doesn't connect right, sometimes the achievement doesn't get unlocked at all and you have to do it again.. or sometimes it'll pop next time you start the game.

it doesn't happen often, unless you have a really bad connection (which i did at one point) but it is rather annoying.

While that is correct in this instance... the very essence of an achievement can hold value to an individual.

neither does anything other accomplishment in the game.. or even playing the game. some people actually like to have a goal to shoot for, and acknowledgement that they did it... sort of like playing a game and actually finishing something.

I just like a record of which things I finished, for myself. I don't shoot for hard achievements or anything like that, but I do like having a record I sided with the Brotherhood this playthrough, finished the expansion, stuff like that.

Well idc about achievements at all, modded the game. When i hit lvl 22 i randomly got the Commonwealth Citizen achievement .Fyi you get it when you hit lvl 10....
