Nuka world, good guy
After taking over the commonwealth 2 times as a raider boss I'd like to complete open season but I don't wanna take over any settlement in the CW and I wanna do as much content as possible beofre killing the bosses. What is the point of no return in that case?

And, will it still be possible to have the red rocket in Nuka World as a settlement?

Red ROcket can be used for a settlement if either Power Play or Open Season are completed. If open season is done it's a regular settlement. If you do power play you have to pick which raider gang you want there.

Just do as much as you can but don't raid any settlements. When all other quests are done take out the raiders. They'll still be in the 4 seperate parks so you can take out those raiders too, once you're done with the raiders in the main park.

Yea I read that once you kill one or all bosses you have like 80 raiders left to kill... It's gonna be one hell of a fight!
I think I remember who gives the 1st quest to raid the commonwealth settlements. I'll make sure to finish everything I can before killing them all.

Basically until you actually take over the commonwealth you can do the open season mission all you have to do is start taking them out when you decide to be the good guy.

Personally I think the good guy path was left unfinished it may just be me but it feels as if there was a lot more they intended to do, defininatly a lot more they could have done along that path.

killing the raiders will block like 80% of the nuka world missions though, ya have alot more to do if ya keep them alive including radiant side missions

If you do Nuka World before completing many settlement unlocks in the normal Commonwealth, you can capture outposts (And then supply the outposts with Robots) without actually doing anything that would be deemed "Evil"

Considering how powerful the Operator and Pack perks are, you should consider this.

I agree, the good guy path is simply kill all the bosses whenever you feel like it. They could have added something more, especially when you're supposed to take over the commonwealth, your char realise that if he/she doesn't want to betray the minutemen he/she has no other option than destroy the Raiders in NW. And make it not so easy to kill all by yourself a thousand raiders.

More or less, but I already done it twice and this time I haven't finished the main quests. I wanna be the good guy and keep leading the minutemen until I decide wether to join the BoS or the Institute.

Too bad, I already unlocked all settlement with the minutemen (1 or 2 with the Railroad). As for the perks, I know I like one - not sure which one exaclty-, but ... I'm already super powerful. I can wander naked in the glowing sea and headbutt a Legendary Alpha Dealthclaw and bite his stupid ass without even losing 1% of my health... Or something like that... Yea, I may be exagerating...

There are mods that allows you to skip raiding the Commonwealth, such as this one:

If you dream of conquering Nuka-World in style, this may help you:

I am using another mod, which adds 17 guard NPC's (several faction options available) to Nuka-World. I find it hillarious to activate it before Open Season, arm the guards to the teeth with my choice of weapons and then watch the epic battle with the Raiders:

Acutally I just saw that by killing bosses just before Home Sweet Home only skips Power Play which is the last quest.
I don't miss any side quest. The radiant stops working of course but I still have access to the whole park.
