Installing FO4Edit?
Basically im trying to get my mods to work and i want to see what conflicts with what, so im trying to download fallout 4 edit. only thing is i have no idea how to. i've looked up walkthroughs but none seem to help or even shot this issue im having where i cant even open the damn thing

when i hit "install manually" from the fallout 4 nexus, it downloads, and i go to open it.

it opens up a internet explorer tab called "View downloads - internet explorer"

Below it has the file reading FO4Edit 3.2.1 -2737-3-2-1.7z

when i go to click 'open' on the file, another window flashes and vanishes.

i go check the file in my computer and its definitly there, the same way it was int he internet download thing but it has the internet explorer logo and i cant do anything with it.

what am i supposed to do here exactly? and how do i install this correctly?

It's a ZIP file . You need to download a program called 7 -Zip I think its free . You need it to open the file .

So , If 7 zip is installed just close it . Then open the fo4 edit . It should open 7zip , it should find fo4 edit if you select open it will ask you where to put it I just put it on the desk top . if done correctly you will now see the fo4 edit program on your desk top .

I can only open it with 7-zip. when i search my computer for it, its nowhere to be found. so for now i just opened it with 7 zip and pinned it to the task bar hoping that way i wont have to dig to find 7-zip just to open it. now fo4edit is going through all my mod files

okay so now that i got it running correctly, how do i find out what two mods conflict with eachother?

for example, i downloaded a mod called infinate companion ammo and unbreakable power armor. yet in game it doesnt work. how do i find out what mod conflicts with it that makes it not work correctly with fo4edit?
