[Solved] Group select question
So i know you can select multiple objects by holding down E, but it only picks up connected structures. the proximity feature ONLY works with floors! There are tones of videos on youtube that show the proximity feature with furniture etc. but it doesnt work for me. Did it got patched or is it because i only have the base game? is it a feature of the Wasteland Workshop dlc? To clarify: if i place down for example 2 beds side by side i cant group select them by holding down E, it does work with 2 not connected but close floors tho, which is very confusing!

Edit: nvm it was the mod [Scrap Everything] ...

This issue has me baffled. Until a couple days ago I was building some nice settlement objects. Renovating structures, creating nice clean-n-neat living quarters, and community centers; then 'POOF' no more Group Select! Not with rugs, pillars, nada. No group select at all.

Steam and Reddit posts reveal the same issue, but none of the answers fix my ability to group objects and/or use the glitch.

I disabled the mods that were suggested to have caused issues for some folks and the issue still exists. Even though the "E" key on PC is suppose to group select, it does not. = I have no hotkeys assigned. (*) Place Anywhere: is a great mod in my opinion. (*) Scrap Everything: is good too, but a bit overkill for my liking. Anyway they are disabled.

I walked from Sanctuary to Red Rocket just to break the scene and voila, the rug glitch worked at Red Rocket... One Time, and that was all. then nada. I tested my keyboard to make sure the E key didn't have a piece of crap stuck in there. All's good there.

Outside of starting a new game, Damn, I must be missing something, but WHAT? = I put a shet load of time in this damn town, not to mention all that BS dialog and boring quests, to start over. . . with no guarantee.

Any 'Code Monkeys' out there willing to give this ol' gamer some clue?

Thanks. (it's like trying to pick fly-♥♥♥♥ out of pepper)

(power glitches work fine.)
