Well if you are using mod NMM then you can temporary disable mods to check it out.. but i suggest to do a seperate savegame forst.. not only qick-, auto- or existsave. Options > Savegame> new savegame .. then exit the game to desktop open the modmanager, disable the mod.. restart and try it out.. if its to messed up without the mod.. exit game.. reenable mod and load that savegame..

Depends.
Creation Engine has problems with tree-adding mods such as Immersive Trees on Skyrim that, if you remove the new trees in-game will cause issues especially if they add a new parallax.
Try it yourself, reinstall it if it causes problems.

I Have a character in sanctuary lvl 5 will all my main character mods active and i just test mods with him , i installed conifers and check it very well flew walked throough most of the map i didnt had any major fps issues exept bunker hill and some places in downtown and i really liked that mod. am thinkin to make it permanent mod in my main save and i was wondering if by any chance in the near future experience any trouble with it if i can remove it.
cheers for info guys

If you are gona add or remove a Object mod then the best place to be is where there is not one of the objects around. for example with tre mods go indoor's and save the game, remove the mod and then walk outside there shouyld be no problems even if befor theter was a moded object nearby, most crashes when removing moded items are from conflits when an object was in veaw when it was moded.

NMM can sometimes throw up an issue due to the way it handles mods, but I never had a problem myself dropping in/out textures. Do what Morty Jhones said though, get out of areas with the object in question before removing.

Mod Organizer works a lot better for this sort of thing. So much safer and easier imo. Good idea to make the switch, at least until Vortex comes out with a full release.

I use NMM since skyrim and never got the chance to learn MO which saddens me because I got very familiar with NMM and i know MO is more practical with more options.
