WOTC alternatives
WOTC♥♥♥♥♥♥all over my save so I decided to remove it. Had WOTC with "Bounties for You" and "Deadly Commonwealth Expansion." DCW makes the normal enemies a bit more terrifying, while bounties for you adds a very dangerous group that attacks you unpredictibly.

Currently using NPCs Travel/Bounties/Deadly Commonwealth. When I actually run into groups it's absoutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy, but the action is still pretty inconsistent. I'm not trying to turn Fallout 4 into a greater rift from Diablo 3 but I feel like anything outside of the center of the map is quite empty.

Would be nice to get fights in areas that can potenially crash my game just because it's the ferns or downtown boston lol

My question for you guys is, are there any other mods out there like WOTC that just increase the population density of the map without killing your game? I've heard good things about Endless Warfare, but it kinda looks like it might just be a clone of WOTC and cause the same issues; maybe I'm wrong.

I know there might be compatibility issues with Deadly Commonwealth Expansion so I'm also open to hear what people have to say about stuff like MadMAX713's faction overhauls (ex:https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11853) As far as Deadly Commonwealth Expansion is concerned it does a really good job of making raiders and rust devils signifcantly more dangerous, but for things like super mutants or main factions like BoS or Minutemen; their patrols are still about as scary as an alpha mole rat

I just want my game to feel more life like, always something going on - and with it danger

NPC level scaler/increaser or whatever it was works nice here.
Make sure you have the unofficial fallout 4 patch, it helps lots, behind the scenes.

You also cannot have more than 128 interactable objects & NPC's (enemies, settlers, or companions/townsfolk) in one area at a time. The interactable, scripted object array tops at 128. That means, per settlement, per cell (chunk of game map, square in shape, like on the map in pip-boy), if it goes over, weird stuff happens!
