They're all over the park.
You know how to find them, you find them.
If you don't wanna do it then try a guide online, nobody is gonna sit and tell you where all 35 are.

if you just go through the story, you'll collect most of them as you move through the areas and pay attention to the enviornment, they're pretty easy to see.

I didnt ask to tell me where they are..I cant be bothered looking for the rest and only asked if there is a quest id so I can do the setstage thing to complete the quest and get the armor

If you just want the power armour and are using console commands, you could avoid the quest entirely.

Get this mod named cheat terminal in Bethesda.bet, click download load up your save then go to misc click on the cheat terminal holotape and then go to items, quest and find star core but if you don’t want the mod well there is a I’d for star cores but it doesn’t work you get the star cores but the quest doesn’t update if you want the Power Armor just go to the container with the power Armor open console type tcl get in the power Armor the get out of the container then make sure your above ground then type tcl again the you’ll be back to normal but if none of this works message me and then I might be able to make a vid about it in a couple days.

It's an utterly obnoxious pixel hunt of a quest, but it's straightforward, and only a few of the cores are what I would call "hidden."

It takes you all over the place, but you get around to most of it by following the main Nuka World questline anyway. It's only a particular bother if you end up doing it all by itself.

Lately, though, I've had a habit of farming the junkyard to get 20 star cores so that I can rush into Starport Nuka and disable the robots without destroying any of them (because I like having active robots walking around in there).

To get the last one, or maybe it's the last couple, you have to complete the quest to power up Nuka World. So the whole "main" quest in that DLC has to be completed in either fashion before finding those last ones. Otherwise you can do one of the many tricks to get them easier and faster.

Out side of Nuka World, to the north east I think it is, there is a abandon Army truck with the same old Power Armor in a lock up. it is either a lock or a computer terminal. I can't remember which, one of the two. Just pick the lock or hack it and your good to go. OR get the theme park power turned on, and get the Nuka World Power Armor in the display case at that swan boat ride thing. It is also a older power armor, like the more common version just a older version of it. With Nuka World textures all over it.

Me I am still looking for the last two star cores for that power armor your talking about, but I do have the other two I mentioned..

This mod is using the wiki ids right?I did use both ids to add the items..One doesnt work..and the other give me the misc item but I am unable to use it..I just want the misc quest completed and I can find a way to get the armor as you pointed out..I just hoped if there was an id of this quest so I can use setstage an complete it..

The quest ID is on the wiki page for the quest.

I mean, if you have the console, then what's the point in even playing the game?

Ok there is a quest id but you really wouldn’t want to mess around with the console when it comes to quests because there’s a chance the code will be a different quest just so that you know if you just want the power armour go to its case go into console type tcl and then get in the power armour and voila get out of the case and type tcl again just so you know I suggest getting that mod once you have it and got the star cores it will continue quest because the cheat terminal gives you the star cores that will update the quest and after you got the star cores uninstall the mod and achievements will be enabled again.

Cheat terminal doesn’t use ids it’s a holotape that will add anything to your inventory it doesn’t use false ids I know this because I’ve used the mod and it worked
