running in offline mode? Or check to see if your region has issues connecting to the Bethesda.net system

I'll try the offline mod thing. I don't really think the "Region" problem it's a thing, since i'm in Italy and everything worked up until last patch.

Didn't work.
Seriously, why this garbage is even there to begin with.

I was able to fix it. I re-downloaded the F4SE.

It's the Minority Report bug. It knew that you would come on the forums and ♥♥♥♥♥ about it. So, it greyed them out (jk). You might not be able to connect to Bethesda.net due to any number of reasons. One of which IS region specific. Although it was located closer to the U.K. region. Try again later or post this issue on the Bethesda forums. OR, and this is what I would do, contact Bethesda support about this and see what they have to say. Otherwise, I think you're just going to have to sit and wait. Oh yeah. . . make sure everything is up-to-date.

Put your firewall back in learn mode. When the game can't talk out it grays those out. Because the exe changed the firewall is blocking the game's attempt to talk to the mod and cc servers.

Hi, I wanted to put some input in case others still have problems. Go to your control panel (Settings) on your computer, next go update and security, windows security, firewall and network protection, advance settings, from here look for Outbound Rules make. (Make sure Fallout 4 has a rule that allows it to be accessed) To do that, click new rule and follow the prompt.

When you get to allow or block, choose "Allow". Complete the prompt and that will add the rule allowing the game to have access.

Just delete all firewall rules for Fallout 4, out and in

Just had this problem and it turns out it was my firewall. I went to Windows Defender Firewall then advanced settings. Click on outbound rules and click on Fallout 4 in the list, then click on properties to the right and in the "Action" box click allow the connection. mods and creation club should ungray. I also created an outbound rule for F4SE, but not sure if it helped at all.
This is a generic symptom of a connectivity problem or authentication problem to Bethesda.Net. It can have multiple causes such as: your local firewall, your internet down, Bethesda servers down, wrong credentials.
