bobby pins for open security gate quest in xoncord museum

I am currently trying to open the security gate in the museum in concord. I watched a walkthrough that showed where to find the bobby pins but when I go to that area and open the tool box there are never any boobypins, even with oprevious saves. Is it random where the bobby pins are for lockpicking or is sometthing wierd going on. I can't move forward without any boby pins. do if anyone has a solution or where to find booby pins somewhere elw it would be much appreciated.

The terminal next to security door is also Novice level. You can hack it to progress forward, if bobby pins are not on the cigarette machine.

It is possible that fighting with raiders has just thrown that box in the middle of rubble, where it is hard to locate.

Of course its always better to picklock with bobby pins and hack the terminal... double experience... i never ever opened a safe via terminal..

Yeah. I am always opening the gate first and then hacking the terminal anyway for XP.

okay I ended up haccking the terminal but the ideas for EX are good and I will use them
