Fallout 76 Lore Breaking with BOS Uniform in Gameplay
If you guys have seen the E3 Gameplay for Fallout 76, there are a few shots of player characters wearing the BOS uniform from Fallout 4.

The most noticable is when three players are crafting in the Let's Work With Others video. The player furtherst to the right, using a weapons workbench, is wearing an orange Brotherhood of Steel jumpsuit. This does not make sense as all of the players are from Vault 76 and the Brotherhood did not come to the East Coast until 2254 according to Fallout 3. Fallout 76 however, takes place in 2102, as seen on the pipboy in the teaser trailer.

I am still excited about playing online, but I can tell lore will already be messed up. What do you guys think?

Lore? LOL. The game will have players launching tactical nukes at each other. We are well past lore concerns.

Doubt the game is canon... it's for fun. Like most online stuff.

Yeah, I just seen many Youtubers in the Fallout community trying to find a way to make the lore work. Such as there being a delay for the opening of Vault 76 which was scheduled to open in 2297 according to Fallout 3, but really opens in 2102 in Fallout 76. However, it was strange no one was talking about the outfit that was so obviously from Fallout 4.

Not really. We don't know what was going on 25 years after the bombs dropped.

If there is radiation almost everywhere 200+ years after the war, it should be much worse only 25 years after it.
Yet you evidently can leave the vault without power armor.

Forget about lore.

The lore in 76 is going to be as consistent as it was in Fallout Shelter, where Preston Garvey can end up with Elder Lyons and a bunch of randoms in a vault soon after the bombs fall. But who cares about lore when you can sell BoS skins to kids for top dollar?!

All the players are former Vault 76 residents. There is no rational way to make vault dwellers indescriminately launching nukes at each other, lore friendly. Vault 76 is one of the few vaults where they didn't experiement on residents.

So no, a bunch of humans who have been living in a vault for the last 25 years to AVOID NUCLEAR FALLOUT are not going to exit the vault and immediately start lobbing nukes at each other.

It's part of lore now. There is more radiation from people launching the nuclear sites everywhere.

It makes no sense, you use all available nukes during the global war, not after it. Because you don't want to lose and die.
Even if some remained, most of them should be used during the war, causing most of the radiation.
