Fast travel options for survival mode?
Are there any fast travel options at all? I know like for skyrim's survival mode you can still use carraiges to get around, are there any equivalent options for fallout 4 or do you literally have to walk everywhere always.

Immersive Fast Travel is also a good one. It lets you build motorcycles and cars in your settlements. Activating the object lets you fast travel to any other settlement with one of the objects built. While it is only settlement to settlement travel it is better than walking but still keeps some of the required foot travel in Survival.

I recommend going to the gullet sinkhole and getting the fast swimming magazine. Then swimming becomes a faster way to get around the east coast.

I never use mods, so I joined the Brotherhood of Steel to get access to the Verdebird (sp?) grenades, makes travel a lot easier. After completing the quest that unlocks them you can buy more on the blimp.

That's more immersive, as well, as you actually travel the distance in the air.

yeah, the run speed in fallout 4 is such that You can get to a new location provided its not inside the city pretty damn fast. Like I can get from sanctuary hills to NW Boston in about a minute.

My gear is a set of legendary fortified armor so I have an Extreme amount of ENdurance. Maybe toss some other drugs into the mix if needed, but I can cover the map just hoofing it from sanctary hills to bunker hill straight line no nonsense in not that much time.

Yeah compared to Skyrim the run and walk speed is insane with this game, which is why I don't mind becoming encumbered. It's not too bad to just hoof it
