How to start With Our Powers Combined?
I've completed The Nuclear Option for the Minutemen, and I can't figure out how to gain hostilities with the Brotherhood.

You are not meant to with just the Minuteman ending.

In order to flag that quest you would have had to gone up the Railroad until the hostile point between Railroad/BOS and then get banished from Institute before reaching the Railroad ending.

Alright, thanks.

Just start hostilities with the BOS. You don't need the Railroad, you can even do the mission after ending the game with the BOS, you can fight Liberty Prime this way.

BoredPeon is thinking Rockets Red Glare.

There is nothing that takes place during the Minuteman ending to make BOS hostile.

Rocket's Red Glare is the Railroad quest that turns BOS hostile, if you get banished between that and Underground Uncover THEN you get the quest to blow up the Prydwen with the Minutemen.

I do this frequently, love watching the Pridwyn blow up. All I do to trigger it is start shooting down Vertibirds.

Is there anywhere I can frequently find Vertibirds, or do I just have to get lucky with the spawns?

After the main campaign is over, of you want to feel better about it,.you can occasionally find knights and Minutemen having shoot outs, I'm guessing stray bullets/lasers with patrols comming in contact. Or set foe via console. Somepoeple feel the need to have RP reasons.

Otherwise, they randomly spawn at any random encounter or raider/mutant stronghold. Shooting Knights and Scribes works too, or trying to kill Dance at the police station will ensure it, but then you'll have to deal with an immortal and angry Dance.

When Vertibirds and BOS start attacking you on sight, Preston should give the quest not long after. And you'll get your Minutemen Vertibird.

Yep, everyone gets their own personal vertibirds except you. I was attacked by a Gunner vertibird in my current game around the South Boston Checkpoint. I was like wtf why is it shooting at me? Then I noticed the pilot was a Gunner Brigadier.

Right you went and made them hostile by shooting at them. I am assuming the OP was looking on the wiki and trying to figure out why he did not get the quest. Simply because I wondered the same thing going through my first Minuteman ending.

Well. Honestly, in my main game that I play ligit, I would run across them in shoot outs with Minutemen patrols, I'd join my troops, why I mentioned it. Eventually Preston came to me and told me it was time to take out the threat. It was so awsome (the whole mission), I made sure to figure it out how tp ensure I can do it on any Minutemen game. It's not like it's really that hard to find a RP reason to shoot a knight in the FC.

I should've clarified; I cleared out Boston Airport before I made the thread, and I still didn't get the quest.

From my understanding Preston gives you the quest. Just cross your fingers and hope he doesnt send you to a settlement instead.
