Hellfire Armor missing . ? . ? . ?
So, I got the Hellfire CC download, I installed it; I went to the spot, I killed the guy. Then he exploded, and the armor vanished . . . I'm like "WTF!?" So, am I missing something? I scoured the area where he was, and he's nowhere to be found, neither is the armor.

What do I need to do to fix this? I can't go back to a previous save game. I didn't realize that was where I was supposed to get the Hellfire from, and have been playing on for several hours now. Is there a way to uninstall it, and reinstall it to try again?

Uninstall the mod, Enter the game, Create a clean save, and then reinstall. It should force the game to respawn the armor.

Honestly tho there was a completely free version of the Hellfire armor available, With a much better background story and location created by the road of liberty team.

That's the problem; its not a mod. It was through the Creation Club. I don't know how to uninstall it.

It was a mod, from an author on nexus who created it.

no, thats not the truth, the creation club version is not made by unoctium, you can see this clearly if you compare the models to eachother. The cc version is made internally by bethesda staff.

If you didn't find it at the supposed location it may have bugged, just add it through the console.
"Help Hellfire 4" will give you a list, the armor should come up.

But will this have any adverse effect on the game; such as impacting accomplishments, etc? That's one of the main reasons I've resisted getting any mods; I haven't finished the accomplishments yet.

There is an easy achievement enabler mod.

That command is pretty safe, never had a problem with additem in any bethesda game. As for the achievements using the console with disable them for your current session, meaning is you use them then exit the game then open it again achievements will work again. And as said above there is a achievement enabler mod if you're looking to play with mods.

No. If you use command console to respawn it, it will not disable achievements. If you're worried about any bugs or glitches from doing this, I suggest you contact Bethesda support. I, myself would treat it like the mod it is and delete it and make a clean save before re-installing it. That would be the safest way. And you could then approach the situation differently to see how you can acquire it differently. If you do re-install it, make sure you make a quick save before you get near the location. . . .just in case. With as many bugs as this game has, I would also suggest ssaving periodically. Like every hour or so, just in case.

Get your cheevos, then join the wonderous world of a modded FO4. You won't regret it!
