Best stealth armor?
Im getting pretty high in levels so i want to make sure im using the best armor i can for my stealth sniper build. so far im heavilly leaning towards the combat armor since i can use the muffled, shadowed and stabilized mods but i just want to make sure.

I tend to go with shadowed combat armour with muffled and sleek mods for stealth.
For dangerous areas, a power armour with stealth field torso mod helps a lot, too.

I guess a combat armor set with one piece having Chameleon effect. you might also want to upgrade the combat armors to shadowed pieces

in vanilla, something as light as possible

with mods, a Chinese stealth suit

Thats what im currently using at the moment, a full combat set with shadowed, braced and muffled. Well, all but the helmet. I have the assault marine helmet in that slot. Only thing im missing at the moment is a heavy combat armor right arm, otherwise im set.

then I dont think theres anything better unless you use console commands to make a chameleon assault marine set

@sarlon in Vault 81 u can buy Legendary Heavy Combat left and right arm. thats what i use.

Using Heavy Combat Shadowed set, sneak speed on legs, melee enhancer at the arms from vault 81, and torso leightweight. helm the legendary buyed in covenant.

for the stealth generator at PA, i use that too (because survival mosttimes PA using) but somehow it is a little wonky. for one it mostly only works correct when u dont move, and on the other side when it sometimes activate just when i want to use my pipboy, i must leave the pip boy and use it again because the stealth invis animation somehow makes monitor of the pip boy empty.
and no i dont use mods exept UFO4P (if u want to call it a mod) , a mod that let me use console so i can fix all this questbreaking gamebugs when they happen, and a mod that still let me get archivments because using the first 2.

If you really want to go the end game stealth build route, I'd say try to use the loot lock farming method (or console them in yourself to test it) to get yourself 5 chameleon pieces.

It's well worth the effort. Took me about 150 hours into the save to have my complete set haha.
