Unable to enter Malden Center Bug(Solved)

So I have looked everywhere for a solution yet have not found anyone who has such a problem. I've played on other characters and they have worked when I went into the station but now when I want to go into Malden Center, it just says open door. I opened it but it was just as if you traveled to any int/exterior; meaning the door is slightly ajar. I have no idea how to fix it. I am running mods but not a whole lot and they dont effect anywhere near Malden. They are for the Glowing sea and then Tales from the Commonwealth. those are really the only major ones. Please if anyone can help.

I'm having the exact same problem! I have Subway Runner installed as well and tried to skirt around this issue by entering a station in Lexington and just traveling the distance on the subway lines, but as soon as I get near Malden my game crashes to desktop! Real pain in my anus, because I'm trying to gather all the magazines :(

Have you got Subway Runner installed? It could be related, though not sure. I'm going to try disable the mod and see if that fixes the problem.

EDIT: Nnnope. Of course it wouldn't be a fix as easy as that. Also have TFTC, tried that as well to no success >_<

I dont have Subway Runner installed. I dont have any mods installed that even touch the subways. I even mad a complete reinstall of the game by deleting everything in the fallout folder and then uninstalling the game and then installing again. This hasnt worked. I think it may be a bug with the game itself in its current version.

maybe, without knowing exactly what is crashing it, I cannot say, I have had things I could fix with some effort and sone (like Welcome to Goodneighbor, breaking Sancutury and the MM) having to restart

My game isnt the one crahing. It just replaced the "enter malden center" with open door which doesnt do anything apart from cracking that open open slightly and then when i click it again it just closes it again. I have googled the problem and havent found anything that even hints at this problem.

I have seen a simular problem at University Point, but it was fixed by exiting the game and restarting, I assume it was a bad cell load, I guess you have tried a game restart with a save made outside of the door?

You dont understand. I litterally cant get in to malden center. It opens the door ajar like you were entering an interior but thats it, nothing else happens. And yes I have tried restarting the game. I restarted it when standing in front of the the door, far away from the door and then fast traveling to it, completely deleting all of the Fallout 4 game files and doing a fresh reinstall, including renstalling all of the mods I have exactly as I have been using them in the same order. I dont even have that many mods installed and most are item or weapon mods. I have location mods like south of the sea and Tales from the commonwealth, but none of them have even touched that erea. Ive played with all of those same mods before too. My last playthrough was basically the same mods and that erea still worked.

I was wondering if you know the console command to enter an interior?

Also, do you think that if i reinstlled it off of the disk which i have that it would work maybe instead of off steam entirely?

So then the problem is in the malden cell not the doors, try it from the main menu and see if it crashes. Dont load a character literally at the main menu open console and coc to malden. This will rule out your save file being the issue.

If it still crashes its mods, if not its your save thats botched.
