Anyone elses power armor headlamp not work?

Very often my power armor's headlamp just refuses to turn on while holding down tab. My power armor hud will say it is on, but there is no light.

A couple of things I've noticed:

1) I don't think it's the bug where the headlamp is originating from the right foot, if it is then it is below the floor.
2) This happens with or without mods. Mods effecting power armor currently installed are: Power Armor Hud - No Transparency and Worsin's Immersive Power Armor Garage. Even without mods it does this.
3) Pip Boty light works fine.
4) Yes, the power armor does have a helmet and headlamp.
5) If I exit then enter the power armor again the light will work until I do something like enter a terminal screen.

Hey found a fix for this yet? I'm having the same issue!

Nope, still no fix as far as I know (haven't played for 6 months or so).

nah that never works but i did find that it fixed itself if i just uninstall and re install over the other mods. did cause a weird bug where i can't draw weapons after exiting pip boy in power armour in 1st person. i know its the pip boy 2000 mod causing it

Sometimes PA headlamp attatches to your foot. Same with mining helmets.

To fix this glitch either drop and reequip the helmet while having pip boy light on in 3rd person (doesnt always work)

Or save and reload save (almost always work)

They work. In my games . You turn them on the same way you turn on your pip boy light.
Press and hold the "tab" key.

But I am not using any mods. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Make sure you have one installed on it, at the Power Armor station.
