is there a way to change the atrocious grenade mechincs?

Its the one thing which I truly despise about the game
Another proof that consoles are a cancer that is killing gaming

I don't want to awkwardly hold a button in the center of they keyboard while aiming the thing.
Why can't I just draw it out like any other weapon?

I don't want to hold this button for 4seconds every time a throw a made

The throwing animtoon is horribly delayed it takes a whole second for the nade to leave your hand and that AFTER you had to hold the G key for 4 seconds
I must fully expose myself or I rusk blowing myself by going to cover to early and making the damb thing hit the wall I was facin
Please tell there a fix to this hoarshit

You also just need to git gud :/
It beats having to switch to grenades in your inventory since they are equipped along side your current weapon.... ie.set the first 3 fav keys to Frag grenade/molotov/any other 3rd grenade damage type.

I'm no n00b at this kind of thing but the mechanics on throwing are a mystery for me in this game.

rank 2 in explosives gives you a throwing arc that is accurate bout 30% of the time

jolly jew, i agree with you that the grenade mechanic of this game is really really dumb. I hate it as much as you. However, consoles are not to blame. The grenades in Fallout 3 worked much better than fallout 4. I played that on the ps3.

I don't see why you are holding the key for that long. I have my bash/grenade set to the middle mouse. Quick push for bash, slightly longer one for grenade. Once it's thrown, you don't have to hold it down.

Yep this, as far as I know, all holding the button down does is shortens the time it goes off when it lands as some of the timer clocks down in your hand, you can let go of the button straight after you lob it. I love using grenades, espsically if your high up and enemies are down below :)

It's nothing to do with being elitist it's simply because the controls / mouse acceleration and UI are terrible in this game because the devs only played the game with a pad and gave no thought what so ever to using a keyboard and mouse.

Except again many of us can use them fine, with a mouse and keyboard. I also have no issues with the mouse acceleration, but the actual mouse your using can also be a factor.

Okay you do not like the controls, that is fine, but that does not mean the devs gave no thought. I personally do not mind the controls.

Consoles are the sole reason for this unforgivable grenade controls because controllers only have like 8 buttons

Any game that started on PC always had proper controls when first you switch out and then toss it with the fire button. With control and no delay animation

Only after said PC games stated pansetibg to consoles their controls and ui were dumbed down
No lean, ♥♥♥♥ grenade controls, horrible ui that that is controlled by d-pad instead of a mouse
And in other games also ajit melee and low weapon count

This is how cod was ruined, and metro
