every DLC I played has no voice acting, can someone help, and give me files I might won't have? (and ofc tell me where to place these files)

they will have a number of extensions.

when i looked into the folder i found a BA2 archive for each DLC dubbed
DLCNukaworld - Voices_en.BA2 295mb
DLCCoast - Voices_en.BA2 500mb
DLCRobot - Voices_en.BA2 117mb

Those should contain the dialouge files.

Example on how it looks like when you search for the filenames

If files are missing, the typical solution is to use the Steam option to verify file integrity.

Before that, do you use mods, and do any of them involve sound?

I do use mods, they dont involve sound, trying to verify file integrity is pretty much broken for me...
How does verifying files not work, what does it say when you try it?

I misexplained it, it works, but it does not fix the problem

backup your saves/mods
Nuke the install
Reinstall.

Before doing this, we should at least diagnose the problem, might not need to reinstall the whole thing.

It kinda seems like a mod. How many mods do you have? Disable (not uninstall) them and see whether the audio is back, that should give us an idea whether the issue is from mods. Just disable them, go in-game to check, and just close the game without saving, re-enable them. If the game crashes loading your save (completely possible, since we're disabling mods), you might have to do it more separately, like disabling 5 mods and then checking whether the issues are fixed

Disabled the mods, still not working, and it didnt crash.
I am still certain I am missing files for each DLC, since the base game is fully voice acted.

Edit: And I just have 5 mods

You may be right. I don't have any Fallout 4 DLC but in one of the other games that I do have DLC Steam verify does not check the DLC but only the main game files.

Post the byte size of the DLC files here and someone here can verify they match.

Thanks, I'll do that.

Nuking the install means that you go into the installation folder and delete everything.
then you ask steam to verify and it will redownload everything.

it is a hard reset for sure but it simple to do.

you could also delete the DLC files and verify for a new set of them, Make backups first.

If verifying didn't do anything I doubt this would, and that would really mess up with the mods, making the guy lose his save

mods/saves can be backed up.
dont be such troglodyte

Actually, there are no DLC folders, so how do I know which files do I need to check?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
