Living in Vault 111
I've setup my base in vault 111 (workbench....) but for some reason I have ghouls and settlers showing up inside it. How is this even possible?

It's possibly related to however you put the workbench in there, since there isn't normally one inside Vault 111, assuming you mean one of those red workbenches used for settlement construction.

If you've changed something so that the game classes Vault 111 as a settlement, it may well be treating it exactly like any other settlement (though you'd normally be building a beacon to attract settlers).

Yes what Douglas said. You've modded the game somehow, so you need to tell us how you did that before anyone can help you.

It is possible for very small numbers of settlers to sometimes arrive at a settlement that doesn't have a beacon. But it sounds more like you have done something to Vault 111 that's making it behave like a settlement with a beacon.

I installed a mod which allows you to live in the vault, and includes a workbench. I also have a mod that allows you to place the workbench where you like.
Now if only I could fix the outside of the vault (place defences...) but I don't know if that will prevent ghouls and settlers from spawning inside the vault.

Let me get this straight...

You installed a mod that allows you to build a settlement anywhere.
You built a settlement in a location that was not meant to have one.
Now because people showed up to live in the settlement you are complaining.

My advice is scrap your recruitment beacon. If you do not have a recruitment beacon then I would learn how to read mod instructions to learn how to turn recruitment on and off.

You didn't get it right, but it seems to me that by reading your post you do have some kind of attitude problem. I just wondering it there is a mod or some ADVICE to rectify (To Fix The Situation) concerning unwanted guests. It's because of answers like yours that some people get fed up posting anything on Steam.

I did get it right by pointing out you are the problem. Instead of accepting responsibility for the mistakes you made managing and using your mod you insult me for telling you to read the instructions.

People asked you to tell us what you did. As in which mods you are using. Yet you still have not replied saying what mods you are using, instead of answering that you choose to sit there throwing insults at me.

Also nobody makes mods to fix other people's mods because that involves stealing work from another mod author which is not allowed on nexus. No decent mod author wants to get themselves banned fixing someone's mess without permission.

Speaking of Nexus, the smart thing would have been to go to the forums on Nexus belonging to the mod first. After all the best person to answer questions regarding a mod is the mod author.

TLDR: Now go find the name of the mods you are using so we can read the instructions for you and tell you what you did wrong.
