Graphic settings wont work using MO and F4SE
I recently bought the DLCs for Fallout 4 and wanted to start playing in it again, I installed the game and installed some mods through MO, used the normal launcher to configure my settings then launched F4SE through the MO launcher but my settings won't carry over when I launch it through MO, I tried this launching F4SE through steam on its own and the graphics were fine, so it seems like an issue with MO. Anyone know how to fix it?

Run the launcher once through MO.

This worked! Thank you

I feel like an idiot now lol

Turns out going into \Mod Organizer\Fallout 4\profiles\Default and manually deleting the fallout 4, custom, and prefs ini folders and relaunching again through MO also works because it copies the settings from the vanilla files. It's weird that MO has it's own setting files for the game, and doesn't just use the ones that are already in the vanilla Fallout 4 files.

It is not weird, it's preferable mo has everything separately.

It tells me "an instance of Mod Organizer is already running" and won't open the launcher...

You need to read other information about the update, hotfix, and F4SE's changes, as well as anything from Mod Organizer 2. I wouldn't expect MO to be updated to accommodate the game's changes.

This thread is super old, and has nothing to do with your current problem.
