Where the hell are all the .44 rounds????!?
I'm using Kellog's revolver as my main weapon and nobody is stocking .44 rounds for me to buy. I can barely find any of the damn things. Is it because I'm only level 16???

Yeah, pretty much they stock them mid to late game iirc.

Certainly. Just leave it be and use .44 less. Don't main one weapon.

kellogs gun is REALLY powerful. u can try leveling ur scrounger perk in luck to have a better chance at finding them out in the wild.

i also went and snagged this from another thread for you.

.44 Ammo is as rare as snowflakes, even with scrounger perks. Even with water farms to sell for caps, buying .44 ammo (when it's even for sale) is expensive.

If you are going gunslinger style (as in, putting ranks into Gunslingerm instead of just liking the .44 snub nose's base damage), Seriously grab a Pipe Revolver. I'm not joking.

Pipe revolvers are the only Pipe guns that don't suck (though I wish they had a proper tactical sight). They use .45 ammo which is the second most common bullet in the wasteland, and can be modded into .308 later.

Rifles and automatics have lots of options, but for handguns you are much more limited. Pipe revolvers bridge that power gap between the 10mm and .44 revolver. They will still blow the legs off ghouls in one shot ranked up enough.

Vendor stocks are levelled unfortunately, but there is hope.

Look for a caravan just outside of Farline Hill estates and you can find a vendor named Eleanor. She stocks large quantities of ballistic ammo (except gauss) without being level locked, typically stocking >100 rounds of .44 on each restock.

.44s are not all that good of a weapon though.

otherwise if u get really fed up or pissed off with it. u can mod ammo crafting into the game. or u can build an ammo factory if u have the necessary dlc.

My recent run was extremely high INT run. I didn't get to kellog until I was around 115.

leveled loot lists aren't real big of a deal, I do a trip around the vendors in goodneighbor and Diamond City, as well as setting up a shop in the settlement I call home.

plenty of ammo to buy. .44 isnt my weaopn of choice though. Looking at Kellogs gun, yeah if you combined that with some overdrive it might be able to vats forever. not really my cup of tea.

I'd prefer a harder hitting double shot gun or something.
The .44 rounds are supposed to be rare. They're powerful. They're rare. They're rare in real life, pre-apocalpse. What did you expect?

Elmore Leonard near Coastal Cottage and Eleanor south of Diamond City near Fairfeild Estates sells the most ballistic ammo.

You're a hero! This should keep me supplied until the other vendors start stocking it...
