Fallout 4

So, time for Bethesda to outsource Fallout completely?
Bethesda have now released 2 terrible Fallout games in a row, while Obsidian's Outer Worlds have been getting rave reviews. Frankly, Bethesda should stop making the Fallout games and let better devs that actually care about the end product make them. The Fallout 76 "premium" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ has proven without a doubt that Bethesda don't give a single fudge about the fans or the series as a whole, they just want money. Let them have their money, but let someone else make the games.

Aww sorry but your world view doesn't match the official definitions in the Oxford English dictionary
And I'm sorry you're not capable of understanding something as simple as video game classifications.

You mean your classifications...

ooh look it's listed as an mmorpg!

Let me understand this.

Bored Peon. MortVent.

Is any game that's multiplayer an mmo? Or just 76?

Seriously. Is ARMA 3 an mmo? Is Rust an mmo? Is 7 Days to Die an mmo? Because they're all multiplayer. I mean, why stop there? Is Dead by Daylight an mmo too? How about GTA Online? Is that an mmo too?

Well considering it's listed as such on many sites... the classificiation is not as black and white as you think. Same for RPG, etc.

The classifications are open and vague.

That the classification is vague as any other. Depends on who you ask and what chosen definition they want to use. People can not accept that it is as much an mmo as many of the instanced ones out there (hellgate london for example, Guildwars, Phantasy Star Online , etc.. that all had limited player counts or lobbies)

No one is stupid enough to buy Fallout 76 now that they know just how bad it is. Several stores had to bundle it together with consoles just to get it off the shelf. Why do you think Bethesda is so aggressively monetizing the game? Because it isn't selling anymore. It isn't making them any money.

WoW servers are run on what is called "server blades", which are about twice the size of your average graphics card. Same shape. One server blade is housing an entire Realm of a couple of thousand players. "The servers are all linked, same as the WoW server (which is actually several servers btw per realm)" This is also objectively false. One server blade houses one realm.

IT sold over 2 million already... and again it's multiple blades for the realms. WoW back in 09 had over 12k blades...for less than 12k realms...
No. For example, Sodapoppin owns the Aegwynn server blade.

By the way, Fallout 76 uses Amazon Web Services to host their servers. I'm sure you can find their server facilities if you look hard enough.

It's fine. MortVent gave proof 76 is an mmo by linking us to a site that also lists Baldur's Gate 3 as an mmo. It's all good. I'm convinced.

Don't forget Total War Three Kingdoms! It has up to 4v4 multiplayer battles and includes a co-op campaign for 2 whole players! If that isn't an mmo i don't know what is

Dude, do not discuss WoW server structure with him, he is more clueless about that than he is about Fallout 76.

WoW stopped using realm servers when Warlords (90-100) came out. Your realm server is just your "character home" where you log in and reserve a name and nothing more. The moment you step into the game you are placed into world instances that contains players from multiple realms (yet Blizzard still charges $25 to change servers.) When that instance reaches a certain population another instance is created.

So trying to make claims a blade holds an entire realm is brahminshit because there is no such thing as a realm specific server and has not been such a thing for at least six years.

Show us where they are not making money with a balance sheet, income statement, or some other kind of financial proof. Since you have no proof you have no point because all you have is a brahminshit theory.
