[NEED HELP] Install the Chip in ADA

Hey guys,
I startet the automic dlc and killed the brain robot in the automic factory and lootet him and all the other robots, on my screen was some text: new robot device modifi things unlocked (I translate from german) and I build the robo workbench but I can only modify the legs, I watched a vidoe and they guy modifyed the head, can u play tell me why I cant do this and how I can do this?

I wished there was a reliable source to make sure Rust Devil raider gang could appear more except if you visit and sleep over and over on Fort Hagen Satellite Array and go inside untill you find the robot piece needed.

It should be something done in the extras section for the torso, if I remember correctly.
You just install the part like anything else.

I think you have just missed a step in the quest order. I find Automatron most easy by having Ada as my Companion, so i can dialouge with her as her quest progress naturally.

You have to find the right Components. They are NOT found on random Rust Devil groups, but in the quest areas You are told to go to by Ada. Check your inventory to see if you have the needed part, it's most likely in "misc" section but some quest items are also junk and can be found under "Junk".

When you have the part you need, you must speak to Ada first, you cannot just put her in the Robot Workbench, talk first to say you have the chip then the Quest should update.
The Quest progresses through 3 main Areas to explore.

After you have done the Automatron Quests complete you will unlock ALL mods for the Robot Workbench, so there is no need to hunt for Rust Devil Patrols to get access to mods, this is only for if you want to build something Robotic early on.

"If the player has built the Robot workbench prior to obtaining the prompt from Ada, the quest will not proceed until the current workbench is scrapped or stored, then rebuilt or placed again. Ada may be modified in other ways, but until the workbench replacement occurs, there will be no option to install the Special Mod that is the Radar Beacon. "
