Cait Romance

I've done Benign Intervention, and it she isn't talking to me to give me the chance to to romance her.

If she is a follower try dismissing her. Go do something else for a while (Give her time to get back to whereever she goes (Combat Zone or Assigned Settlement), save your game. Exit fully.

Load game. Go to her and see if she has reset.

Barring that check her Affinity. Open Console and type getav ca_affinity see if its stuck. You will need to do an action around her she likes/dislikes.

It gets triggered when there is a new affinity update. There should be enough locks to pick in order to gain some positive affinity.

Take her to Good Neighbor. Hopefully you've saved romancing Magnolia for something important. Make eyes at Magnolia. Talk her into going to bed with you. If that doesn't get Cait VERY interested, you might as well give up on her.

I did the Affinity check and it's like 955. Then I picked a lock and it became 978. (Or some such)

Being unclothed is one of the things that can gain affinity with Cait (and Hancock, for that matter), and fast travel is a typical way to trigger the check for it.

Is someone actually afraid to get naked and fast travel through the commonwealth? And here I thought I'd seen it all.

you only need two(2) travel points, just rotate between safe havens vault 111 and diamond city or whatever, it'll be fine, Cait will hold your hand.

it's not like your going to fast travel into a combat zone. your going Home to get some. No wasted time on getting undressed there.

Edit : I'm thinking that your over thinking this;
1 you just gave her the best thing, Like Most woman; you still have to show just a little bit more.
2 you know this so you want to do the easiest and surest Means to get what you want; which is Get Naked and make it to the closes safe bed available.
