[Spoilers] Conquer the Institute
Is there a mod anywhere that can change the Nuclear Option to allow the winning faction to basically salvage the Institute? Like, for example, if you side with the BoS, instead of blowing the place up, they invade and clear the whole place out, before starting to prepare it as the homebase of a new chapter?

Mods that alter the player's beginning area or change the start of the story invariably break your game. I'd suggest that your problem if you have one, has nothing to do with this 3 year old thread that doesn't have ANY info about 'startup' locations.

There is a mod, in fact, but there wasn't one when this thread was originally posted.

The Outcasts and Remnants mod allows you to make peace with every faction if you so chose

But I want to blow up the Institute, that's the whole idea of building the Anti-Communist Liberty Prime. Better question would be, can we have control of our factions past end story ? Like setting up Patrol Lanes for BOS, setting The Castle as main FBO. Giving Directions of Research, Development and Studies at the Institute (with prevalent results). Disband the RR & MM and so forth.
