Can i create a synth squad that follow me?
So, i was a knight of BOS until my i invaded the institute and my really old son convinced me to join the institute and when i explored the institute, i got very interested, and after doing some things there i wanted to have my own synthetic bodyguards to do some ♥♥♥♥ around the commonwealth, like kill some people, enslave others expand the institute territory if possible...

I was converted by the institute's impeccable look and its technologies.

The mod Amazing Follower Tweaks should work. It allows multiple companions. It also allows you to 'recruit' any NPC as a companion. So it should work. It's up to you to figure out where to grab the synths. I don't know. Those 3 you meet at random might work. I am pretty sure time is stopped while the AFT menu is open. As soon as they are a follower they should stop shooting at you. You can probably grab all three if you are quick. It will help to leave your current companion behind so they don't damage your soon to be companions.
AFT does a lot of other cool stuff as well.

Synth Relay Grenades are the closest you'll get without mods.

With mods, yes. I think the one I use is FCOM. You can summon different squads from any faction to do sort of mini missions or tell them to scout/patrol areas or e en assign them to settlements.

If you're looking for vanilla, then no, except for the grenades that I forgot about.

There are also several companion mods that the follower is either synth or some other type of android that you can rp as synthetic sympathizers.

I had not seen that DLC was on sale with -67%, very likely I will buy now.

Yeah, I didnt see it was currently on sale until someone started whining how the Season Pass costs more than the GOTY (which happens every @#$%ing sale.)

If you finish the "story" with the Institute, the robot vendor in one of the halls will start selling you synth relay grenades, and you can buy up to 30 of them each time.

You can have bodyguards, you can have an entire army of robots running loose. 30 of those robots can take over Quincy on their own. No DLC required.

Well they wont act as body guards companions. However they will attack settlements with you. They also gain levels if they survive multiple settlement attacks and settlement defenses.

Other than that, I am sure you could find a mod that allows you to create or buy synth relay grenades to go with it.

I did this in a raider camp, it was funny, spawned them in the middle of the camp.
I would like to have a mod that add gen 2 synths into the grenades...

Only problem with synth grenades is that they spawn a level 1 unarmored synth that basically gets ran over by ANYTHING above it.

That's why this grenade should be in companion's hands, so he can spam (hopefully).
