Are there any mods that make the Minutemen better?

Basically, currently the minutemen are garbage, I never see any patrols (if there even are any), the missions ♥♥♥♥ ass all of them are "a setTleMeNt nEEds yoUR helP" or "Your sETTLEment is UNder aTTacK". It's like I MYSELF am the entirety of the Minutemen because I build the settlements, I save other settlements, I recruit settlers.
I know that I am the General of the Minutemen, but still, they don't do ♥♥♥♥ but stand there and get attacked every once in a while.

I just want to be the leader of a useful army of Minutemen, not an army of man babies who needs everything given to them on a silver platter. If only they could be used kinda like the raiders are used in Nuka World but instead of raiding, you go attack a raider outpost or you can take a group of minutemen with you to protect another settlement.

Anything that makes the Minutemen useful in someway other than just standing there giving me free Tatos

Screen of Minutemen.

Its simple to make a mod in the Creation Kit. Even better because you can choose what they come equipped. Maybe the Diamonf city guards armor or even BOS or anything.

Make an outfit which isnt difficult, its in the main list to the left. Just name it and drag and drop items into it! Simple.

Then find the Minutemen NPC's and double click and their outfit is right at the top. Drop down meni, then choose the outfit you made.

Done.

Doing all the Minutemen NPC's is a bit of a chore but not to bad.
